Culurgiones Class

The culurgiones (also called  culurzones, cullurzones, cruguxoni, culurgionis, culingionis, gurigliones, crullixonis) comes from Ogliastra, a region located in the island of Sardinia (Italy).

Their name derives from a Byzantine word that might have referred to a bird or to a round loaf.

In Ogliastra culurgiones making is something passed down in a family for generations.

This special pasta class seeks to investigate the historical value of culurgiones.

Of course Culurgiones is one of the most difficult stuffed pasta to master, but in our hands on lesson you will learn how to make them in a perfect way!

Sauce

Pasta Sauce offers aromas and flavours.
The culurgiones pasta is perfectly suited with a simple tomato sauce, garlic, basil and a sprinkling of grated Pecorino DOP cheese.
