    You could go here every day. The range of cooking classes is so wide. You can learn how to make lots of types fresh pastas. The antipasti appetizers are amazing. The owner-chef and staff are amazing…and it is reasonably priced. My suggestion? Bring a friend, and book your cooking class soon! You will be full and happy.

    Amazing pizza class. Kept us going through the day whilst we were exploring Padova. Can’t beat it. Feels like a must if you’re in the city!!!!

  • Very nice cooking class, great service and knowledge! I went there with our very nice italian friends who lives in Padua and they invited us to live a real italian homemade pasta experience... And that´s exactly what it is! Thanks a lot for that lesson. The food is amazing and the people who work there, are wonderful guys.

    Really good regional Italian food from scratch. I truly recommend to learn how to make fresh ravioli with Butter, Sage Sauce: simply divine. Worth a second visit.

  • I went there with my friends and we took the gelato class: delicious! The teacher helped us with a great choice: Gelato alla Crema, custard cream gelato, Hazelnut Gelato, and Pistachio Gelato - a MUST do! The rest of the staff was very polite and nice and we felt like home. It’s hard for me to find a good place with authentic italian gelato and a perfect balance quality/price. I’ll definitely go back!

    The pasta class is so interesting. We took a few pasta classes and the real authentic green lasagna is the best I’ve ever had - and I make lasagna, which says a lot! All the cooking class items looked amazing! The pasta maker-chef was running such an efficient pasta class and was so friendly with everyone. Don’t miss this place on your next trip to Italy!

    I took this class with my 2 roommates and we had an incredible time! We made a tomato and rosmarine flatbread focaccia, fettuccine with alfredo sauce, tiramisu for dessert. The food was incredible, our instructor was knowledgable and the steps were easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone in Padova, I know we are all planning on attending again.

    We booked this class very last minute. and it was the best thing I did for my last minute Padova trip. We had an amazing time learning not just about different Italian dishes but also the culture of fresh pasta from scratch. The chef showed us homemade pasta techniques. She also gave us recommendation on where to buy extra virgin olive oil and fantastic Italian cheeses. It was one of the most memorable things we did in Italy and we scored some points from my family when we cooked them some of the dishes we learned.

    We went to a gelato class with friends and totally enjoyed it and can highly recommend it! Chef is very knowledgeable and sympatic. We prepared really good typical gelatos from scratch. The place is extremely clean and hygenic. Safe during the pandemic.

    We booked this class before we were even sure we could travel to Italy. It was a great choice. Now we know how to make several easy and fun authentic Italian Dishes. The chef was wonderful. Due to the pandemic the cooking class was private. A great family activity!

    We had the most amazing time doing this private cooking class. The chef was extremely knowledgeable and very talented. All of the dishes were simple yet delicious and we learned so much. We would recommend this to anyone looking to have fun!

    My husband and I were given a cooking class with Rolling Pin Cooking School as a gift. It’s not something we would have thought to do on our own, and we had such a fantastic time! We learned how to make agnolotti, an Italian omelet zucchini frittata and delicious panna cotta dessert. Of course, we ate everything, along with some Pinot Grigio wine, and got some great prep and cooking tips along the way. A really fun time!

    Best thing I’ve ever done in Padova This was the best thing I’ve ever done in Padova! I took the Orecchiette 3hr pasta course and it was amazing! The chef was a perfect teacher and host and I learned so much and had so much fun. She taught everything logically and explained everything very well, answering all our questions and made the orecchiette class so fun with how friendly she was. The food tasted fantastic and I’m definitely going to try the new recipes and techniques. Outstanding value, delicious food- I literally could not fault anything- I had such a great day. Thank you!

    HIDDEN GEM!!! YOU NEED TO GO TO ROLLING PIN COOKING SCHOOL WOW! All I can say is that Rolling Pin Cooking School is a true hidden gem. The chef teached us how to make ravioli from scratch and were given the recipe so we can make it at home. Gave us an excellent explanation of different types of fillings for the best results.

    Phenomenal experience and delicious food - SAFE during COVID-19 I solo traveled to Padua and felt completely happy and safe. The chef was very funny, nice, and an excellent cook!     Excellent Covid safe cooking class!!!! We were so pleased that chef-cooking class teacher was able to offer a cooking class. She reduced the class size to accommodate social distancing requirements: the cooking class was private, only for our group. The facility is well laid out and spacious. It offered the perfect environment to ensure all our activities were compliant with Covid 19 protective measure. We chose the pasta class so we could learn about local pastas from scratch. Chef was knowledgeable and charming. Shee explained everything we were doing and offered advice and tips on cooking fresh pasta. The dishes we prepared were very tasty and we enjoyed a delicious Veneto white wine with our lunch. We had a most enjoyable morning and will definitely join another class when we next travel to Padova.

    I wasn't sure how I felt about doing a full day cooking class as this was my first time. Not only was she (chef and teacher) engaging and entertaining, but she had a slow enough pace to allow me to make the dishes along with her. She asked if anyone had questions multiple times throughout the class and I was able to follow her clear instructions. In these crazy Covid times I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this class and I will definitely be signing up for more in the future. Many thanks again!

    What a great place! We had the BEST TIME learning how to bake. the teacher kept us informed, engaged and entertained, whether we were experienced bakers or cracking an egg for the very first time. Impressive, instructive fun and delicious. The "one day bread class" was small, intimate, and unforgettable. I already signed up to another class!

  • LOVED my Tortellini class at the Rolling Pin Cooking School. Class size was great (only 2 of us), allowed us all to ask questions and get involved. I have already made my home made tortellini twice and am playing around with variations of the recipes. Really an amazing cooking experience, I highly recommend for cookers who need a little inspiration and motivation to start making fresh pasta on their own.

    A day with The Rolling Pin Cooking School is a day well spent for food fans visiting Padua. You learn about the history and culture of Italy and Veneto. We prepared and had a great four course meal. For starter, stuffed artichokes and a delicious focaccia, followed by a asparagus risotto from scratch. The dessert consisted of a strawberry panna cotta. We were a group of two friends and that worked out well. This isn't your typical cooking class: the chef is warm, easy to talk to and treats you like a friend. We learned so many little helpful cooking tips. Don't miss the opportunity. If you enjoy quality and healthy food and Italian cooking, this is a great way to spend a day in Padua!

    My experience at Rolling Pin Cooking School was incredible. My boyfriend and I took the "gelato" class as his birthday gift and we both really loved it. The chef - instructor was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and really fun. The gelato class size was perfect, everyone was comfortable asking questions and the chef was very receptive to those questions. We made 3 different gelatos completely from scratch in the old way. This was such a fun experience and we can't wait to go back!

The chef taught me step-by-step the process. Firstly we made a snake of dough and cut small portions of it. Secondly we formed those into small balls. With the knife, we placed it over the dough and drag it out at a very slight angle: this made the dough curl. Thirdly we turned it inside-out and the orecchiette was done. The chef taught me how to make a delicious dessert: Castagnaccio made with chestnut flour, orange peel, sugar, raisins, evoo, rosmarine, water. Delicious! I suggest this cooking class because is interesting and completely hands on.

    I just completed the 3 day cooking program at the rolling pin cooking school & it has been a dream come true!! I retired this past year. Always wanted to attend cooking classes. I researched different cooking classes in the Veneto region area and I am so happy I found this place. The staff is supportive & encouraging. Chef and teacher is amazing. She is a top chef and pasta-maker. I had the great opportunity of learning from the best: I loved the instructions, the recipes, the details, the history of food. It was a very rewarding and challenging experience and without reservation I highly recommend this cooking classes.

    We had a memorable time, cooking a 3 course meal: two different types of fresh pasta and a delicious strawberry tiramisu. Our menu consisted of: Fresh Pasta Cavatelli by hand with a delicious ragù bolognese sauce Ravioli with Butter and Sage Strawberry Tiramisù We have taken quite a few cooking classes abroad and this one ranked highly. Really nice kitchen to work in, very informative and interesting too. Easy to book - contact by email, and easy to find with competitive pricing. We would definitely recommend if you want to do something different and "local". If you love the food "farm to table" this is the perfect place.

    A must-try, hands down. We did the cooking class at this cooking school. This was an amazing and interesting experience. The teacher told us a lot about the history of Italian Cuisine: that was perfect and very interesting. The chef explained everything really good and well. Everything came out perfect. I can’t wait to replicate what we learned at home. An excellent experience for foodies and amateurs alike!

    Doesn't get much better than this cooking class. My wife and I spent 4 hours with our teacher -chef learning to make Focaccia, Fettuccini with Ragù, and Tiramisu. It was so much fun. Each item turned out fantastic. Believe me there was plenty of taste testing going on throughout the class as well. All we had to do was listen, replicate the chef's instructions, bake, and fill. Highly recommend this experience should you ever find yourself in Veneto or Padua or are planning a trip there. It's worth the few hours to spend learning and improving Italian cooking techniques. And you'll feel like a professional.

    My son and I came to Italy and were looking for a cooking class. We found The Rolling Pin Cooking School. The experience completely exceeded our expectations! We made homemade spaghetti alla chitarra, ravioli, carbonara sauce and pistachio tiramisu. We learned so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND We highly recommend this class for anyone looking to learn how to cook classic Italian recipes.

    A hidden gem. My husband and I attended the full day cooking class 2 years ago. This was our first visit to the Rolling Pin Cooking School. It was highly recommended and now we know why: our instructor was really AMAZING! She showed wonderful hospitality among a vast knowledge of the culinary arts; the food was cooked to perfection. Our favorite sampling was the Potato Gnocchi. My husband and I are looking forward to open back up after the COVID-19 Pandemic so we can plan our next venture! Next time we’d like to try another hands-on class.

    Our experience was amazing. It was not just tagliatelle from scratch & tiramisu , but the chef surprised us with something more. She was very welcoming and open to all of the questions we had. We also had some good conversations. And the food... OMG it was amazing. Best fresh pasta tagliatelle with ragù, and tiramisu I've ever had. When my boyfriend and I left his place, we couldn't stop talking about our experience. We agreed to come next year. I highly recommend this experience!!!

    Made my first fresh pasta today. There was a lot of wait time but our instructor was very clear when instructing how to bake the fresh pasta from scratch and gave many useful hints and tips. You get to choose one specific pasta class because they offer more than 15 different types of lessons. Awesome experience!

    Excellent cooking school I took three different classes in 3 different days: I started with the focaccia class, followed by several Italian pastries and tiramisu and ravioli classes. Each one has been great – fun and very informative. I received the recipes by email. The classes themselves have been very well-organized, with clear instructions: completely hands on. I especially appreciate the time to ask questions and the chef has always been very responsive when I need additional information. If you are interested in gaining new skills from a very talented teacher, I highly recommend RPCS. Someday I hope to go to Italy again and take a week long cooking course.

It was the day they were doing Spaghetti alla Chitarra with cacio e Pepe sauce which is my favourite dish. We loved every minute of.     Make This Your First Activity in Italy. A full day cooking class is not the sort of thing I'd usually choose to do, but I'm so glad we did this. It's very easy to follow the steps, and the staff are always on-hand and ready to help. Our only regret is that we didn't do this earlier in our trip because it gave us a lovely and important appreciation for the different ingredients and characteristics of Italian cuisine.

    Best Ravioli Class. I had the pleasure of taking this ravioli class with Rolling Pin Cooking School. My class ended up becoming a solo class at the last minute, and since I am a vegetarian, the teacher was willing to adjust all of the recipes to vegetarian options so I could learn to make something I would actually eat and make at home.

The chef showcased each course and talked us through what to do as we did it. My husband had never cooked before and even he could follow it (super easy!).     Excellent sourdough baking course. Two years ago I had a pleasure of taking a week long Sourdough Bread Course in this place. The Sourdough was exciting course. The course runs from 10 to 4 pm, there were two students so plenty opportunities to learn new hands on techniques and new recipes. During the day each of us baked a few different sourdough breads, sweet and sour recipes, sourdough pizza, sourdough focaccia, sourdough pinsa... The course was incredible. Hands on completely.

    Wonderful Sourdough Bread Course: your Bread Adventure starts here! We couldn't recommend the Sourdough bread course enough! Six days of full knowledge, practice and fun. From sourdough to yeast breads, kneading and shaping techniques, the chef-teacher-baker is amazing, passionate, kind, and she definitely shares all the tricks and tips and tricks. Again, wonderful experience with a wonderful baker!

  • Wonderful Focaccia class in Padua. My sister and I signed up for the focaccia class on our recent visit to Italy. We loved it: very friendly, warm, really hands on. The kitchen is extremely clean. It's a very hands on focaccia class, not like others I've taken where you watch the chef do the work. We are so excited about how easy it will be for us to create these delicious flatbread focaccia with different toppings. This is a must do experience in Padua.

    Incredible family cooking class. My family and I took a family cooking class and we had so much fun! Chef&teacher walked us through making two different types of fresh pasta and 2 different sauces. Not only did they all come out beautifully and delicious, but we had so much fun in the pasta process. She made everything so easy.

    Fantastic experience. The pasta making class was amazing with loads of information and was so much fun. Weather was fantastic, cooking outside with a view of tuscan hills and San Gimignano. 100% recommend.

  • We had around 8 classes in total and chef and teacher is amazing with bread and pasta from scratch. Not only are the cooking lessons fun and hands on, so you really can go home and cook the dishes, but cooking pasta and this sort of home cooking is a great way to bring the family together and make beautiful memories.

    Best baking class in Italy. Best baking class I have ever taken! You will find a kind and wonderful teacher, knowledgeable and passionate about bread and baking and answered all our questions on breadmaking or focaccia making. The workshop is well organized, and I got to make so many different types of Italian bread!

    Amazing half day cooking class experience. Highly recommend this class! We got a small tour of the Indian market, then headed to the school to make some amazing dishes. The school was clean, the ingredients extremely fresh, and the teacher and staff was FANTASTIC! Would definitely do this again.

    Fantastic day of bread making. I booked this course for my partner and myself as a birthday present since we both enjoy cooking but hadn't made bread before. We had a lovely day, the chef-baker is so knowledgeable and passionate about baking and she made us feel at home. We learned a lot and had a go at making different types of bread. It's given us confidence to start baking at home and would recommend to anyone.

    Agnolotti Class was divine! This is one of my favorite experiences from my stay in Padua. The chef - instructor was nice, fantastic, and the class was very hands-on and not as intimidating as I thought it would be. The agnolotti pasta class gave me confidence to come back to the US and give the recipe a go. I'll be making them this weekend and can't wait to create those colorful, tasty macarons! Great class, only 3 people total so you got a lot of attention throughout.

    A wonderful cooking school I was desperate to do a cooking course in Italy, and managed to find this one on an internet search. All I can say is, it was one of the highlights of my trip. We had a fabulous time generally, makes it pretty amazing! There was a translator - Mikey, whose English was superb and who was fun and friendly, and the cook, who was also lovely. They had a really great chemistry and the dishes we cooked were fabulous. It was relaxed, informative and I am planning to find a thai grocery shop in London this week so I can cook what I learnt this weekend! I just wish I had done more than just one half day, I'd have liked to have done at least another half-day's worth of menus.

    Great day making gelato from scratch! This place and small homey cooking school is amazing. You are made to feel so welcome as soon as you enter and was worth every euro. The staff is very friendly and professional and taught us so much about making gelatos (3 flavours: pistachio gelato, chocolate gelato, crema custard cream gelato: super yummy). I would highly recommend to everyone.

    A 5-star cavatelli class. We studied how to make authentic Cavatelli Pasta by hand at two different cooking schools on purpose; we wanted to see different ways of making this classic pasta, and we wanted to pick up different tips from different pasta makers. We thoroughly enjoyed this cavatelli class. It was a different experience from our other pasta class, and that was a good thing. Our instructor is very knowledgeable and she broke down the steps into easily understandable parts. Included not only the lesson how to make cavatelli by hand, but 2 delicious sauces. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Memorable Time Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class, especially our 78 year old mother. Chef Ann was a warm host and instructor, full of helpful hints on preparing these classic Italian dishes. It was delicious. It was fun. We'd gladly return for another cooking class or long week cooking course on our next trip in Italy.

    5-star Pasta Class: one of the best pasta class in the world, not only in Italy. We learnt how to make egg pasta from scratch and delicious sauces. Chef led us through two traditional Italian pastas (tagliatelle and ravioli) and 2 sauces. We really enjoyed our time with this fabolous pasta maker.

    LOVED my pasta class. Class size was great, allowed us all to ask questions and get involved. I am a beginner cook and since this pasta class I have already made my home made fettuccini twice but it was a terrible experience. This lesson is really an amazing experience, I highly recommend for pasta lovers who need a little inspiration and motivation to start making pasta from scratch on their own.

    What an experience! Ten stars! The Chef is a great teacher not only for cooking, but also for cultural and historical aspects. The atmosphere was very nice and the instructions and explanation very helpful. So in the end we could taste the delicious food and are prepared to repeat this at home.

    Excellent Fettuccine Tagliatelle Class: my reason for coming to Padua. The class I took with Rolling Pin Cooking School was at the top of list of things to do while in Padua. I had become infatuated with fresh pasta tagliatelle so it only seemed right to take the fettuccine tagliatelle class. The classroom was intimate and wonderful. My class included a couple who owned a pasta shop in the States. It was a relaxed, fun, and very informative class. Chef and the staff: excellent & enthusiastic. I plan to make an annual trip to Padua to take more classes from her. I highly recommend taking your pasta classes here.

    More than just a bread class. My daughter and I were looking for something fun to do on our recent trip to Padova. My sister and I took the one day bread class. It was the first bread class either of us have ever taken and it was amazing. Chef and the Staff: excellent teacher, great passion for baking. We learned a lot about Italian bread and Italian culture.

Everything was extremely well organised, the chef was a fantastic teacher and the food we made was just wonderful We learned so much - from learning about all the ingredients , how to make pasta from scratch properly and how to cook!     3 cooking Days in Padua! I have traveled to Italy many times and have always looked to tripadvisor and google to take care of my plans as I know will be in good hands. This trip was my first time to Veneto and Padova and I was excited to see and do as much as I could in three days so I left it to the chef to plan everything. The chef and her staff are professional and helpful in putting together the best cooking experience with the best recipes about the regional Italian cooking. All from scratch! Everything was arranged from transfers to and from the airport to the quaint ideally located B&B I stayed in to all of my experience throughout the trip. I got to explore the city: simply marvellous. The chef was always available and offered great suggestions from eating the local cuisine in neighborhood trattorias osteria to indulging in Michelin star restaurants serving their specialties. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole 3 day experience. I can’t wait to plan my next cooking course at RPCS!

    Best Pasta Class Cavatelli. We did the cavatelli class. It was honestly the best thing I have done overseas on TripAdvisor. Chef Ann was the best teacher and her home was so welcoming. Couldn’t recommend this enough.

    Perfect week My sister in law and I enjoyed the week long slow cooking. With 6 cooking classes we learned an incredible amount from the chef. All the food we made was delicious and has been easy to replicate at home. There was plenty of free time in the schedule to enjoy the stunning Padua and Euganean Hills Colli Euganei and everything else the town has to offer. As a matter of fact I think the balance of planned activities versus free time was perfect. The chef was wonderful. This was an absolutely perfect week.

    Amazing pizza making class in Padua! Our pizza making class was fabulous. The lesson was about the real Italian pizza!!! My three sons loved every minute of it. Staff was passionate about making the pizza with the freshest ingredients and doing it the correct way! Everyone enjoyed making pizza dough from scratch by hand and eating their own pizzas! It was super fun!

  • Gelato class--highlight of trip! My 16 year old daughter and I took a gelato class over Christmas break. We had initially booked it for our son but he was ill and so my daughter and I went alone. It was incredibly fun! The teacher is simply a delightful person and such a fantastic instructor. I can't recommend this experience more highly and would definitely incorporate a gelato class or a cooking class into your Padova trip.

    We did this family class as a family of four. We were incredibly impressed. The family class was fun and informative and the instructor was fantastic. We wanted something beyond the typical cooking class and that is exactly what we got. It was a highlight of our time in Padova and I highly recommend. Extra bonus: you walk away with the chef suggestions for dining in Padova.

    A must-do in Padua, wonderful day!! Do book with this cooking school, we had an unforgettable experience! We decided to come here after searching for a long time through all the cooking schools around our Belludi hotel. Tripadvisor listed this as the 2nd best and it did not disappoint. We booked a full day Menu for the morning the day before and they had space, to our great relief. The organization was very good, everything very clean, good english speaking chef, very good food and fresh and organic ingredients. We had a lot of fun.

    A must do when in Padova! Myself and 2 friends had a brilliant time learning to make focaccia from scratch with Rolling Pin Cooking School and her amazing chef. Her home is beautiful and she is very hospitable, knowledgeable and patient. We all had a great time learning the ropes of Italian cooking and shared a delicious meal afterwards. All of us are inspired to take what we learnt from RPCShome with us to cook for our loved ones. I really do recommend booking a class with RPCS.

During the second week of May I participated in two full day cooking classes over two days and couldn’t have been more pleased. Chef Ann is very experienced, enthusiastic, knowledgeable. She helps you learn not only pasta skills, cooking skills, but new techniques. She shares stories about Italy and Veneto region, life as a chef in a professional kitchen, and many tips about ingredients.
